Can I pour boiling-hot liquids into the jar of my Philips Food Processor?
No, you should not pour very hot ingredients into the jar, as this may damage the jar and its accessories.
If you want to pour ingredients like boiled spinach for pureeing into the jar,
allow the ingredients to cool down to below 60°C/140°F to avoid damaging the appliance.
The Citrus Press does not spin steadily.
If you notice that the Citrus Press cone does not spin as it should,
please refer to the solution below.
Too much pressure on the press When too much pressure
is put on the Citrus Press, this can cause the cone to not spin steadily.
To avoid this, please hold the fruit steady on the cone and apply just
enough pressure to keep the fruit in contact with it.
My blade gets blocked during processing.
If the motor or blade unit gets blocked during processing, try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Unclogging your Philips Food Processor:
Switch off the appliance.
If your appliance has a protective cover, please remove it.
Use a spatula to dislodge any ingredients that are blocking the blade unit.
For best results, process smaller quantities and cut very hard ingredients into smaller pieces before use.
